In 2009, a thermal power plant in Tianjin began to use the process of UF --> one pass RO --> degassing membrane --> EDI to make up water for the boiler. The membrane system pressure vessel arranged as 12:6,6 core per pressure vessel,total 108pcs membrane elements used, RO system design permeate flow is 100m3/h, and the recovery rate is 75%.

On December 3, 2019, In the reverse osmosis system the imported membrane were replaced, all using KeenSen star product "BW-8040" RO membrane. After the RO system is installed, flushed, debugged, and continuously operated, the permeate water flow is 100m3/h and the salt rejection rate is 98.5%, which meets client's subsequent process water requirements.
